This is a self-contained activity in which your students will use realistic techniques to plan a mission to Mars. The goal of this activity is to use the excitement of Mars exploration as the "hook" for getting your students interested in the process of design, engineering, and technology. The activity is intended for students in grades 4-12.
The students will go through a design process in a fun game environment to develop a spacecraft mission to Mars.
