Undergraduate Opportunities in Research

NAIC Summer Student Program
The NAIC Summer program is an opportunity for undergraduate students to assist with radio and radar astronomy and atmospheric science research at the Arecibo Observatory near Arecibo, Puerto Rico.

The assistantships are 10-week positions in which students will work closely with observatory staff to investigate pulsars, interstellar space, Earth's atmosphere, and planetary bodies. Students will be compensated with a stipend and paid round trip transportation to and from San Juan, Puerto Rico.

The New York Space Grant Consortium offers internships and outreach programs to students from elementary school through the graduate level.
