Summer training at University of Twente,
the Netherlands. (June-August, 1999)
Project: Development of theory and software to model the STM (Scanning-Tunneling Microscobe).
Description: The project was carried under the supervision of Dr. Chris M.J. Wijers, of the Computational Optics Group. My project dealt with the
problem of calculating the reflected and transmitted electric fields for the case of an oscillating dipole on the top of a surface. The Fortran 77 code is
available upon request. The project report is approximately 70 pages long. Click to download it as a PDF file. (It is
not complete and contains some errors. The author hopes to finalize it sometime.)

Senior project. (Fall, 1999)
Project: Superconductivity in small atomic clusters.
Description: The project is carried under the supervision of Prof Igor O. Kulik and Prof M. Cemal Yalabik. This is a fourth year physics course
(Phys-491). Fortran codes and Latex files are available. Click here for more information.

Part-time project. (1998-1999)
Project: Development of theory and software for calculation of transmittance and reflectance for a stack of layers.
Description: The project was done for Asst. Prof. Ali Serpengüzel. The code is written in Fortran and is available.
